Mentor Teachers play an important role in strengthening school quality by supporting and developing fellow educators while continuing to excel in the classroom. In this role, you model high standards in curriculum, assessment, and behavior guidance, while coaching teachers on best practices such as lesson planning, classroom management, and daily routines. You support teacher onboarding and help foster a positive school culture by guiding new staff through policies, licensing standards, and expectations. Through collaboration and problem-solving, you assist teachers in navigating challenges and building their skills, helping maintain consistent, high-quality learning environments. This role serves as a pathway for educators to grow their leadership abilities, whether advancing into management or continuing to share their expertise within the classroom.

Qualifications:

• Established as a high-quality lead teacher
• Minimum of an CDA/AA, or working towards an AA in ECE
• 2 Years of experience as a lead teacher
• Must apply and be accepted to become a mentor teacher
