In this role, you will lead and support a team of educators, ensuring classrooms meet licensing requirements, accreditation standards, and best practices in early childhood education. The Director oversees staffing, scheduling, enrollment, and school operations while maintaining a strong focus on child development, safety, and family partnerships. You will serve as a mentor and coach to staff, promote professional growth, and model positive leadership in a fast-paced environment. By building strong relationships, maintaining compliance, and continuously striving for excellence, the School Director plays a vital role in shaping a thriving school community where children and educators can succeed.

Qualifications:

• Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
• Two years of experience in a licensed early childhood setting
• One year of managerial experience in a licensed early childhood setting (preferred)

Skills Needed:

• Working knowledge of state specific licensing requirements, National Accreditation guidelines, and early childhood development teaching and assessment strategies
• Ability to develop trusting relationships with families, children, and staff
