Hello! I’m Allison, the director at New Horizon Academy St. Cloud. I started with NHA in 2004, and it is the only company if have worked for in my career! When I am not working, I am a busy mom of twin 13-year-old boys. Whether it is football, basketball, baseball, or even boxing, we are always on the go!

What do you like about early childhood?
Early childhood is that time in a child’s life where their brain is developing at an incredibly rapid pace. We have the opportunity to educate and shape those little minds at such a crucial point in their development. It is astonishing to see how much children learn and grow from the time they start with us in the infant program until the day they graduate from preschool.
What makes your school unique?
When I think of my school, the phrase “small but mighty” comes to mind. We are a smaller school with five classrooms, but we are a strong team that works together to provide the best educational experience for the little people in our care!

I live with my husband, two boys, and our dog in Princeton, Minnesota. We love spending time relaxing at our cabin or fishing out on the lake. Our families also enjoy watching movies and playing board or card games.

I highly recommend this group of staff to anyone wishing to have a peace of mind leaving their child at daycare. The staff are caring, communicative, positive, and energetic. My wife and I have no words to describe how satisfied we are to return to a bubbly baby each day. We have observed amazing social and cognitive development in our baby and are comfortable leaving our toddler in the hands of this fun and professional group.
For me, the hardest part of being a parent is not being able to stay at home and spend every second with my child. Being able to put to my son in the care of the St. Cloud New Horizon Academy was the best decision my husband and I had made. The school goes above and beyond for your child. They send daily updates with photos so you can feel like you are a part of their day and know what they have done so you can talk about it with your child. The teachers and directors are amazing, and really feel like your family.
I can’t say enough positive things about New Horizon Academy St. Cloud! From the moment we enrolled our child, we’ve been impressed with their caring staff, engaging curriculum, and safe environment. The teachers are incredibly nurturing and skilled at fostering both academic and social development. Our child loves going to school here, and we’ve seen such wonderful growth in their confidence and abilities. The classrooms are clean, well-maintained, and designed with children’s needs in mind. We feel so fortunate to be a part of the New Horizon Academy family.
I absolutely love the teachers at the St. Cloud school. They are very loving and kind. My son is doing so well academically and is so well cared for, it melts my heart. From the infant room to the toddler room, they have the most amazing teachers. They’re my son’s second family. My son is also physically excelling in all areas. They do such an amazing job.
