New Horizon Academy Ramsey is located conveniently in Ramsey, Minnesota off Highway 10, near Coborn’s grocery store. We have been serving families in Ramsey, Anoka, Elk River, Otsego, and Dayton with quality childcare and early education services since 2020. Our learning programs include infant, toddler, preschool, and pre-kindergarten for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years. At our Ramsey childcare, we use a comprehensive curriculum that includes character development, STEAM, literacy, motor skills, and more, all with an emphasis on building confident and excited learners. *Newly enrolled families or families returning after 9 months only. Not valid with any other offer. Ramsey location only. Infant and preschool program enrollments only. Tuition credit of $500 valid for full-time enrollment only. Part-time families and families enrolled 3 days or less will receive a $250 tuition credit. Credit applied only after 30 days’ continuous enrollment. Account must be paid in full before any credit will be applied. Based on availability. I live here in Lakeville with my husband and children. In the summer, we love spending time camping in our fifth wheel. I also enjoy crafting with my Cricut and being involved in my children’s activities.

What do you like about early childhood?
The thing I love most about being in early childhood is the relationships we build with families. We are not just taking care of children, we are caring for families. We are a school family.
What is your favorite children’s book?
Oh there are so many to pick! When I was a toddler teacher I loved reading the Llama Llama series to my class. As a mom, my kids and I loved reading The Little Blue Truck series.

In my free time, I love to travel and experience new things. I enjoy being outside when the weather is nice; paddle boarding, rollerblading, snowboarding, ice-skating, sitting by a fire. I also enjoy spending time with my dog, Bentley, and my partner, Jack. Taking each day as its own new adventure is something I am learning to do.

I love that the children are so excited to learn and that they get to grow so much from the time they start with us to the time they go to kindergarten.

Our school is unique because majority of our teachers have their degree in Early Childhood or are working towards their degree to advance their education skills.

The teachers are all incredibly kind and organized, maintaining a safe, warm, and welcoming atmosphere at New Horizon Academy in Ramsey! The kids are given personalized learning targets and are taught sign language, math, science, and the arts – even in the infant classroom! As a K-12 teacher myself, I am so impressed with this early childhood program.
We have truly enjoyed our experience at New Horizon Academy! The director and teachers have done everything to make sure she has been comfortable and happy in her class. From day one, she was greeted by name and with a smile. She absolutely loves her teachers and looks forward to going. Sometimes, I don’t think she wants to leave! I love the diverse and healthy food menu, the activities they do each day, the learning experience, and the cleanliness of the facility. The staff truly go above and beyond to make it a wonderful experience for the kids and their families.
My daughter is at the Ramsey New Horizon Academy, and I must say that is the best decision my wife and I made. With the help of the amazing teachers and the management team, my daughter transitioned so quickly and now loves going to the school and seeing all her teachers!
