Welcome to our daycare and early learning center in Olathe, Kansas! New Horizon Academy Olathe opened in October 2023 and has since been serving families in Olathe and surrounding areas with quality childcare and education. Located conveniently off West 151st Street and Black Bob Road, learning programs are available for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years, including infant, toddler, preschool, and pre-kindergarten options. Hi there! I’ve been working with children for a little over seven years, and while I’ve had the joy of teaching all age groups, pre-K is where I truly fell in love with early childhood education. I’m currently pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Education with a minor in ASL and Deaf Studies. Both ASL and ECE are my greatest passions, and I love bringing them together to make learning meaningful and inclusive for every child.

Our family loves New Horizon Academy – Olathe! We toured countless other centers in the area and we were not very impressed until we visited New Horizon Academy. Our daughter is in the toddler room and her teachers are so loving and kind! You can tell that they truly enjoy what they do. The leadership team is very strong – they’re very hands-on with the classrooms and maintain great communication with families. The facility offers a high-quality curriculum, a wide variety of fun activities throughout the day, nutritious meals that our daughter enjoys, and a brand-new, state-of-the-art early childhood center with an indoor gym, which is essential for young children during inclement weather. The staff utilize Conscious Discipline practices in the classrooms to build social-emotional skills rather than using old-school, punishment-based techniques. We are so lucky that our family found this gem!
We are so glad we found New Horizon Academy Olathe! As first time parents, sending our newborn off to daycare was a huge milestone. We are thankful for the care and communication provided by our wonderful teachers. We’ve had such a great experience at New Horizon Academy in Olathe. I have twin boys, one in the 2-to-3 year old class and one in the 3s, and both of their teachers have been absolutely amazing. It’s so clear they truly care about the kids. My boys are learning so much and always come home talking about the fun activities they did during the day. One thing I really appreciate is how consistent the communication is. The teachers do a great job keeping us updated throughout the day, which gives us so much peace of mind. We’re so grateful for the care and support our boys receive here.
We enrolled our 2-year-old daughter at New Horizon Academy at the beginning of the year and are so glad we did! We have had an excellent experience. Our daughter’s teacher is fabulous with the kids. We love having directors who are so helpful to the parents. We will be enrolling our son in a few months too. The school is clean and everyone you meet is so kind and helpful. They also keep parents very well informed. We looked at a ton of schools in the area and are so glad we picked this one.
