Our brand-new school in North Olathe, Kansas is now open for enrollment! Since opening in July 2024, our dedicated teachers and early childhood professionals have been committed to providing high-quality daycare and preschool programs for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years. We are conveniently located off Lone Elm Road and College Boulevard, primarily serving families in northern Olathe and surrounding areas. Each of our childcare programs is designed to nurture and prepare children for kindergarten, by using a comprehensive curriculum that incorporates STEAM, reading, social-emotional learning, motor development, and more. We are actively pursuing NAEYC accreditation, which requires a minimum of one year in operation. In the meantime, our school is committed to ensuring that our infant, toddler, preschool, and pre-k programs align with the highest standards of quality and care. From a young age, I knew I wanted to work with children. I began my career as an infant teacher and knew I was in the correct field. Since then, I have worked as an infant teacher, a pre-k teacher, and as an assistant director. My goal is to continue growing with the company and eventually be a center director!

We transferred from the other Olathe location in anticipation of this location opening. Both schools have been amazing! Our kiddo adjusted quickly and we feel he is truly loved and cared for at New Horizon Academy. The daily routine, updates on the Procare app, cleanliness, and open communication from all teachers has been great. We’ve toured and experienced daycares charging similar prices, but offering far less. We are so happy to be part of the NHA family.
New Horizon Academy, specifically the North Olathe location, has been the perfect fit for our family. North Olathe’s New Horizon Academy has been the best decision our family has made hands-down when it comes to supporting our children’s development, needs, and emotional care. We have been here since they opened in July of 2024 after leaving our previous daycare of 3.5 years. We were tired of constant staff turnover, unclean facilities, and lack of interest in getting down to the why behind a child’s day-to-day behavior. After one week at New Horizon Academy, we noticed such positive differences in both our children. Classes size are great, the teachers want to be there, and the communication is consistent from staff. We love it here, and our kids do too!
