We are seeking Substitute Childcare Teachers to join our team at New Horizon Academy in the Southwest metro area.
Substitutes in our Southwest metro area will be responsible for working at schools in the Chaska, Chanhassen, Eden Prairie, Shorewood, Edina, Bloomington, Shakopee, or Prior Lake areas.
Work area is flexible and based on where you are located. Subs are asked to travel within a 15 mile radius of their home.

New Horizon Academy Minnetonka is located conveniently in Minnetonka, Minnesota, just west of I-494 on Minnetonka Boulevard, and nestled within the Manchester Village neighborhood. We have been serving families in Minnetonka, Woodland, Deephaven, and Wayzata with quality childcare and early education services since 1986. Our school has two infant daycare rooms, one toddler daycare room, and two preschool and pre-kindergarten rooms. At our Minnetonka childcare, we use a comprehensive curriculum that includes character development, STEAM, literacy, motor skills, and more, all with an emphasis on building confident and excited learners. I have an undergraduate degree in Early Childhood Development and Elementary Education with a minor in Literacy. I also have a Master of Education in Literacy. I have passion for our youngest learners and love sharing my joy of reading. I see myself as a lifelong learner and hope to instill that in all the children I get to work with!

I have a 3-year-old daughter and a cat. I am currently obtaining my bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and I am looking forward to using this degree to better understand the children in my care.
