Along with my three kids, I have been caring for children for more than 20 years. I grew up in small town Kansas before moving to Idaho in 1995. Since moving here, I love going on new adventures and camping in the quiet mountains.

We’ve had our four-year-old at New Horizon Academy for over a year and we cannot say enough good things about this program! All of the teachers are warm, professional, and accommodating. In addition to the great staff, the facility is clean, bright, and full of learning toys and materials. The outdoor area is spectacular. We toured a number of childcare facilities before finding New Horizon Academy and say it is without a doubt one of the best in the Boise area.
Switching our child to attend school here has been an absolute game-changer! Our previous daycare felt like a glorified babysitter, lacking in teaching and genuine engagement. Our child was disengaged and hated going to school. Enter New Horizon Academy, and everything changed! From day one, our child comes home excited and eager for the next day. The biggest difference from our old center is the intentional effort and genuine care put in by the teachers. We love New Horizon Academy! Our daughter has been enrolled since she was 3 months old and is now in the preschool classroom. Every teacher she has had has made an impact on her in such a positive way. They are all so attentive, caring, and passionate about their roles in the children’s lives. Our son is now in the infant room will get to learn from all the amazing teachers our daughter has had too! I absolutely LOVE New Horizon Academy and all of their staff! Everyone is very friendly and helpful. My child and I have had a wonderful experience and recommend them to everyone. I really like their curriculum and how transparent they are with parents. It feels really good to drop my child off knowing that he is in a clean space, being mentally stimulated, well fed, and taken care of. Another thing that really makes this place stand out is how we can see what our children are doing throughout the day with their app. Seeing those pictures all day really makes my heart happy.
