We are seeking a CHILDCARE TEACHER to join our team at New Horizon Academy Rochester in the following classroom:
Wage Range: $20.55/Hour - $25.30/Hour
All applicants MUST:
• Be reliable and have positive work ethic.
• Have a minimum of 16 qualifying semester credits to qualify as an Assistant Teacher under MN Rule 3.
• Be able to work full-time (about 40 hours/week).
• Have a passion for working with children!
*Previous childcare experience is preferred but not required.

New Horizon Academy is now open in Elkhorn South, Nebraska! As a nationally recognized childcare provider with 100+ locations, we are excited to bring our high-quality daycare, preschool, and early education programs to families in Elkhorn South and the Omaha metropolitan area. Children ages 6 weeks to 5 years will be guided by skilled teachers using a comprehensive curriculum that includes social-emotional learning, STEAM, reading, motor development, school readiness skills, and more. Our classrooms are being thoughtfully designed and constructed to prioritize safety and foster a love for learning.
I have been working in early childhood for 19 years. I have been a teacher, assistant director, and director in other settings. I have a huge passion for creating quality experiences for children. I love building relationships with families and being someone they can trust. My husband and I have 2 children together. I love being a mom and supporting my kids with all of there activities and sports. I enjoy being outside, farmers markets, concerts, and decorating our home.

I am a mother to 2 sweet boys. I enjoy reading and spending time outdoors. I am all about self-growth and continuing education, which is why I am pursing a bachelor’s in education. I grew up in Iowa and moved to Omaha in the summer of 2025. I have my associates degree from Iowa Western Community College which is where I met my now fiancé.
