Thank you for considering the Eagan, Minnesota New Horizon Academy! We are conveniently located off Interstate 35E and Yankee Doodle Road on Federal Drive. Our school has been serving Eagan, East Bloomington, West St. Paul and Inver Grove Heights families since 1990 and offers infant, toddler, preschool, pre-k, before and after school care, and summer camp learning programs. Our Eagan daycare center is accredited by both NAEYC and NECPA. All New Horizon Academy childcare classrooms utilize a comprehensive early learning curriculum, focusing on STEAM, reading, social-emotional development, and more. I started at New Horizon Academy as an infant teacher in 2014 and have been the school director since 2021. My husband and I live in Rosemount with our 3 children. I am a big MN sports fan and I have also coached some of my kids’ sports teams. I truly love working with kids and watching them grow.

Our center really strives for a family feel. Many of our teachers have been with New Horizon Academy for years. We want to make everyone feel welcome and that they belong here.

I have been with New Horizon Academy since 2016. I started off as a preschool teacher and now have moved into the office! I love being able to create relationships with families and children.

What do you like about early childhood?
I love building relationships with the children and getting to see them grow and learn new things. I love seeing their faces light up once they have completed something they have been trying at for awhile.
What makes your school unique?
Our school has many long term teachers who have been here for 4 or more years. We feel like a family since we have worked together for a long time. We are also 4-star parent aware rated!

It has been a pleasure having my children at New Horizon Academy (Yankee Doodle). I love how my children’s teachers are always excited to welcome them. This center has done an amazing job keeping all the children engaged and making sure the parents are involved as well. Every time I walk into the classrooms, they are working on some activity or having group time. I know that my kids are in very good hands!
