Thank you for considering the Boise – Emerald Street New Horizon Academy! We are conveniently located off West Emerald Street in Boise, Idaho, on The Salvation Army Boise Corps campus. We are proud to partner with The Salvation Army to provide parenting teens in their School Program with access to quality childcare and education for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years. We've been serving Boise area families since 2019, providing our services to both the public and program participants. Our Boise daycare center is accredited by NAEYC and offers early learning programs for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and pre-kindergarteners. All New Horizon Academy childcare classrooms utilize a comprehensive early learning curriculum, with a focus on STEAM, reading, social-emotional development, and more. In addition to our welcoming classrooms, our school also features an outdoor classroom that allows children to engage with nature and further enrich their learning experiences. I have worked in childcare for 10+ years, and I absolutely love it! I have done everything from working with all ages, from infants all the way up to school age. I have been a teacher, worked in the kitchen, and have been in management. I moved to Boise in 2023, married the love of my life, and have made Boise my home and New Horizon Academy my career. I couldn’t be happier!
