We are seeking Substitute Childcare Aides to join our team at New Horizon Academy in the Southwest metro area.
Substitutes in our Southwest metro area will be responsible for working at schools in the Chaska, Chanhassen, Eden Prairie, Shorewood, Edina, Bloomington, Shakopee, or Prior Lake areas.
Work area is flexible and based on where you are located. Subs are asked to travel within a 15 mile radius of their home.
All applicants MUST:

Our school has been serving Bloomington, Eden Prairie, and Edina families since 1990, and has two infant rooms, one toddler room, and three preschool and pre-kindergarten rooms. I have two sons in college and enjoy watching Minnesota sports, especially when my son plays in the marching band. In my free time, I love binge-watching my favorite shows, spending time with family and friends, and playing bean bags.

Both our children have attended New Horizon Academy – Hyland Greens in Bloomington since they were 4 months old. The staff is FANTASTIC and our kids love going everyday. The curriculum the director and teachers put in place help our kids learn age appropriate skills. The facilities are cozy with lots of activities for the kids to enjoy. It’s going to be hard moving on when our kids start elementary school in a few years because they have built great relationships with all the teachers, staff, and directors.
Our girls have attended New Horizon Academy since they were 3 months old. The staff here are very caring and keep us informed of everything going on at school. It’s fun to see the relationships blossom – teachers from the infant rooms still interact with the kids as they grow and move onto the next classes. Our preschooler is learning so much, it’s fun to hear the songs she learns and other little things she picks up on. We just had her kindergarten screening and she was well above the expectation for her age, much of that is thanks to the curriculum at New Horizon Academy.
New Horizon Academy in Bloomington is wonderful. The teachers are amazing! They really care about your kiddo. The classrooms are clean, organized, and super cute. They offer soccer and music programs and always have fun and creative activities for the kids to do. The staff’s attention to detail is above and beyond. NHA is a truly wonderful place.
New Horizon Academy Hyland Greens is a great daycare! It is managed exceptionally well and the teachers are wonderful and genuine. The staff doe an incredible job keeping us informed throughout the day.
