Job Description

**$3,000 HIRING BONUS ELIGIBLE for teacher qualified candidates**

Wage Range: $16.30/hr to $22.50/hr

We are seeking Childcare Teachers to join our team at our beautiful new Bennington school! 

Projected start date for staff:  mid-July 2026

 

All applicants MUST:

  • Meet Nebraska state licensing requirements for teacher qualification.
  • Have experience working in ECE and in classroom management.
  • Be able to work a full-time schedule, Monday-Friday between the hours of 6:30am-6:00pm.
  • Have positive work ethic, and a team-centered attitude.
  • Be willing to learn and grow as an educator.
  • Enjoy working with children!

I am a Colorado native who grew up in the Cherry Creek School District. I started working in childcare as an after-school job in high school and quickly discovered my passion for working with young children. I spent 18 years at a learning center in Highlands Ranch as both a teacher and part of the management team. The best part of being a director is building a strong community with my staff and the families enrolled with us. When I am not working, I love spending time with my husband and three daughters.

Education – B.S. in Early Childhood Education

Years of Early Childhood Education Experience: 25+

I just want to share how much I love and appreciate everyone at New Horizon Academy, Aurora! The directors and the rest of the staff make this center AMAZING! My kids both enjoy going to school every morning, and the atmosphere is so positive! My husband and I recently relocated to Colorado, and finding a great daycare was such a challenge.
