Fluffy Pumpkin Slime
It is starting to get chilly outside, which calls for a festive slime recipe! Your kids will love how soft and squishy this fluffy slime recipe is!
Why foam slime?
Children love slime, but not all slimes are made the same. We love this fluffy textured slime because it is a great sensory experience, being so thick and squishy. Plus, this slime barely sticks and shouldn’t leave a mess! Don’t worry; this slime still has the same stretchy and oozy effect as all the other slimes.
How to Make Fluffy Pumpkin Slime
Materials:
- ½ cup Elmer’s washable white glue
- Orange food coloring
- 2 cups foam shaving cream
- ½ tsp. baking soda
- 1 tbsp. saline solution
Pumpkin Slime Recipe:
- Add 3 cups of the foam shaving cream to a bowl.
- Add the orange food coloring to the foam shaving cream and gently stir until thoroughly blended.
- Add ½ cup of the white washable school glue to the mixture.
- Stir in ½ tsp. of baking soda.
- Mix in 1 tbsp. of saline solution and stir until the mixture turns into slime. If your slime feels too sticky, add a few more drops of saline solution.
- Knead your fluffy slime until it becomes a smooth texture.
Pro Tip: If you would like to keep your slime to play with later, be sure to store it in a reusable container, and it should last a few weeks. Over time, the foam slime will lose some of its “fluff”.
