There are bound to be at least a few hungry birds in your own backyard this spring. Help them feel at home with this easy homemade bird feeder.

Step 1

Gather your supplies. You will need:

• Peanut (or Nut Free) Butter
• Bird seed
• Toilet paper rolls
• Yarn
• Plastic knife or popsicle sticks

Step 2

Using a plastic knife or popsicle stick, cover outside of toilet paper roll with peanut butter.

Step 3

Roll the peanut butter covered toilet paper roll in the bird seed until covered.

Step 4

Thread a piece of yarn through the toilet paper roll and knot. Add a few lose strands for birds to use for their nests.

Step 5

Hang where birds can enjoy!
