New Horizon Academy and Southwest Health Break Ground on New Childcare Center in Platteville, Wisconsin
October 5, 2025 – Platteville, WI — New Horizon Academy is proud to partner with Southwest Health to bring a brand-new, high-quality childcare center to southwest Wisconsin. The official groundbreaking of the new location – New Horizon Academy’s first in Wisconsin — took place on October 1, marking the beginning of construction on a state-of-the-art facility designed to serve up to 140 children.
Located on Performance Drive in Platteville, the new center will serve both Southwest Health employees and community members throughout the area. Construction officially begins October 13, with completion expected in 2026.
