2026 Professional Development Summit: Literacy for a Lifetime

New Horizon Academy teachers gathered around playground at school in Maple Grove at Boston Scientific headquarters

On Monday, February 12, 2026, New Horizon Academy teachers and staff came together for our annual company-wide Professional Development Summit. This year’s theme was Literacy for a Lifetime.

This annual event provides dedicated time for our educators to learn, collaborate, and continue growing as early childhood professionals.

Throughout the day, our team focused on strengthening the foundations that support every child’s growth academically, socially, and emotionally. Ongoing professional development helps our educators reflect on their practice, share ideas, and continue building the skills that support high-quality learning experiences.

We are excited to bring new ideas and strategies back into our classrooms to spark curiosity and support children’s love of learning.

We would also like to thank our families for being flexible and supportive while we closed for the day to invest in our educators. We truly appreciate your partnership and the role you play in helping us grow and strengthen your child’s experience at New Horizon Academy.

Have questions about our professional development or classroom practices? Connect with your school director or teacher to learn more.
