Thank you for considering the Woodbury New Horizon Academy! We are conveniently located in Woodbury, Minnesota, off Valley Creek Road and Radio Drive. Our school has been serving Woodbury, Oakdale, and South St. Paul families since 1988, and has one infant room, one toddler room, three preschool and pre-kindergarten rooms, and one school-age room. Our Woodbury daycare center is accredited by NAEYC, the gold standard in daycare accreditation. All New Horizon Academy childcare classrooms utilize a comprehensive early learning curriculum, with a focus on STEAM, reading, social-emotional development, and more. I have worked with children from birth through adolescence, but early childhood is my favorite age group. My husband and I have two children and two dogs. I love spending time outdoors, camping, and reading.

Our children have attended New Horizon Academy – Woodbury from infancy through preschool. We have been so impressed with the staff, curriculum, and community. We know our children are in good hands in a safe, supportive, and fostering environment. The staff are responsive, flexible, and truly care about the wellbeing of our kids. The teachers in every program are amazing! We are consistently in awe at what our children have learned, and know they will be well prepared academically and socially for kindergarten. I would highly recommend the New Horizon Academy in Woodbury! I have 2 kids who go there and they learn so much and have so much fun. The whole toddler staff is amazing with my spunky 1 year old. My son loves this school and I would recommend it to any parent looking for daycare. It is hard to find a center that’s a good fit for your child but my son loves it here! I love the daily communication app with pictures and almost hourly updates on my child. It makes me feel safe and secure knowing he is doing well. My son looks forward every day to go to school and that means a lot.
I highly recommend New Horizon Academy in Woodbury. I knew this was the right place for my kids as many of the staff have been there for years. The directors and all the staff are warm and welcoming, which makes dropping off my children easy even on the tough days. I know that they are having a great day every day by the multiple updates I receive on the app throughout the day. I cannot thank them enough for being a true extension to our family!
