We are seeking Substitute Childcare Teachers to join our team at New Horizon Academy in the Southwest metro area.
Substitutes in our Southwest metro area will be responsible for working at schools in the Chaska, Chanhassen, Eden Prairie, Shorewood, Edina, Bloomington, Shakopee, or Prior Lake areas.
Work area is flexible and based on where you are located. Subs are asked to travel within a 15 mile radius of their home.
All applicants MUST:

Our school is located conveniently in St. Louis Park off of Highway 100. We have been serving families in St. Louis Park with quality child care and early education services since 2016. Our school has three infant rooms, one infant transition room, three toddler rooms, and three preschool rooms. We use a convenient electronic communication tool in each classroom to connect with our families throughout the day. Our comprehensive curriculum includes character development, STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts, and Math), sign language, and more, all with an emphasis on building confident learners. Our St. Louis Park center is open Monday-Friday every day with the exception of nine holidays:
*On Christmas Eve, New Horizon Academy closes at 3:00 p.m.
*If one of these holidays falls on a weekend, it will be observed on either Friday or Monday.
*Our school will remain open during inclement weather to ensure children still have access to quality childcare.

Yes! At New Horizon Academy St. Louis Park, we have an on-site cook trained in nutrition, USDA guidelines, and proper portions for young children. Our school provides nutritious and nourishing meals every day including breakfast, lunch, and snack.
If your child has a special nutritional need, a food allergy, or requires adaptation to our menu, please alert our school director, and we will partner with your family to create a suitable meal plan.
