Thank you for considering the Shakopee New Horizon Academy! We are conveniently located in Shakopee, Minnesota, off Marystown Road and Highway 169. Our school has been serving Shakopee, Chaska, and Carver families since 2018, and has two infant rooms, one transition room, two toddler rooms, four preschool rooms, and one school-age room. Our Shakopee daycare center is accredited by NAEYC, the gold standard in daycare accreditation. All New Horizon Academy childcare classrooms utilize a comprehensive early learning curriculum, with a focus on STEAM, reading, social-emotional development, and more. I live in Montgomery with my 3 beautiful children and my boyfriend. I have worked in early education for 15 plus years and love what I do. When I’m not working, I enjoy baking, reading, photography, and spending time with my children at their many sports activities. Each day is a blessing!

Shakopee has the BEST teachers and staff. We’ve never been happier with any other daycare provider. New Horizon Academy has had a very welcoming and warm environment from day one; everyone knows every kid by name! When we transitioned from the infant room to toddler room, we never felt anything but support and care for our little one. They have incredible cleaning and communication standards!

We enrolled our infant daughter at New Horizon Academy Shakopee and absolutely love it. The classroom staff are the best. They know her individual needs and always keep us updated on how she does each day. They post pictures and updates in the mobile app so we know how things are going. They do daily activities like songs, reading, and art projects. The management and dietary staff are so friendly and greet us each day when we arrive. It really feels like they are family members and I trust them absolutely with our daughter’s care.
