Thank you for considering the Savage, MN New Horizon Academy! We are conveniently located in Savage, off Egan Drive between Highway 13 and County Road 5. Our school has been serving Savage, Burnsville and Prior Lake families for more than 20 years. We have two infant care rooms, two toddler care rooms, four preschool rooms, and one school-age room. Our Savage daycare center is accredited by NAEYC, the gold standard in daycare accreditation. All New Horizon Academy childcare classrooms utilize a comprehensive early learning curriculum, with a focus on STEAM, reading, social-emotional development, and more. *Newly enrolled families or families returning after 9 months only. Not valid with any other offer. Savage location only. Tuition credit of up to $1,500 valid for full-time enrollment only. Part-time families and families enrolled 3 days or less will receive up to a $600 tuition credit. Credit will be applied incrementally in three equal amounts at 30, 60, and 90 days of continuous enrollment—up to $500 credits for full-time families and up to $200 credits for part-time families. Account must be paid in full before any credit will be applied. Based on space availability. Family must enroll and pay registration fee by 5/29/26.

What do you like about early childhood?
There are so many things to love about early childhood. I love to see the “aha” moments when a child masters a new skill. I love the pure honesty of a preschooler’s words. I love the joy on each child’s face when they see something new and exciting. I love how a hug can melt away the sadness in a toddler. I love how every day is different than the day before!
What makes your school unique?
One thing that makes our school special and unique is the number of long-term teachers we have with us. Our school is well-established in the community, and we have a strong relationship with the City of Savage. We are regular sponsors of citywide family events and activities.
What is your favorite children’s book?
I have three favorite children’s books: “Each Peach Pear Plum” by Janet & Allan Ahlberg, “Home for a Bunny” by Margaret Wise Brown, and “The Giving Tree” by Shel Silverstein

I can’t put into words how special this school is. Our son has been a part of the New Horizon Academy family since he was 8 months old and has now graduated from the preschool program. As we no longer need daycare, we are very sad to have to say goodbye. The teachers here are top-notch and quickly became like family. He learned so much and is more than prepared for kindergarten. It amazes me that most of the staff have been here since we started. Thank you, NHA, for providing learning, healthy meals, and so much love to our boy!
It’s always a little nerve wracking when looking for good childcare options, but I felt at total ease after I first met the teachers and staff at New Horizon Academy Savage. My daughter started with them and is now in the preschool room, and I have a son currently in the infant room. Both children have received exceptional, loving care from many wonderful individuals. I like that each class has a daily schedule, a well planned curriculum, and fun activities to fill the day. I also appreciate all the extra opportunities available like music and Spanish classes. We love it at NHA Savage!
We have been going to New Horizon Academy Savage from the infant stage all the way to preschool and have had the best experience. The teachers are so caring and we love that the same teachers and directors have been at the location since we started over 5 years ago! We will truly miss the teachers and directors once our children graduate.
We’ve been so pleased with our experience at New Horizon Academy Savage. The infant and toddler teachers have been wonderful. They do a great job at both caring for and teaching the kids, and our son comes home knowing new things all the time. The directors are completely accessible and helpful. I would absolutely recommend this school to friends and family.
