Our school is located conveniently in Plymouth, Minn., off of Highway 55 and Highway 169. We have been serving families in Plymouth with quality child care and early education services since 1992. Our school has two infant rooms, two toddler rooms, three preschool rooms, and one school-age room. We use a convenient electronic communication tool in each classroom to connect with our families throughout the day. Our comprehensive curriculum includes character development, STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts, and Math), sign language, and more, all with an emphasis on building confident learners. This New Horizon Academy was such a saving grace for us. When we moved to Plymouth unexpectedly, we had two children in daycare and had to scramble to find a new daycare center for them. New Horizon Academy was able to get our toddlers enrolled quickly and we have had nothing but good experiences ever since. Our Plymouth center is open Monday-Friday every day with the exception of nine holidays:
*On Christmas Eve, New Horizon Academy closes at 3:00 p.m.
*If one of these holidays falls on a weekend, it will be observed on either Friday or Monday.
*Our school will remain open during inclement weather to ensure children still have access to quality childcare.

Yes! At New Horizon Academy Plymouth (Highway 55), we have an on-site cook trained in nutrition, USDA guidelines, and proper portions for young children. Our school provides nutritious and nourishing meals every day including breakfast, lunch, and snack.
If your child has a special nutritional need, a food allergy, or requires adaptation to our menu, please alert our school director, and we will partner with your family to create a suitable meal plan.
