New Horizon Academy Minneapolis-Marquette is located conveniently off 1st Street and Marquette Avenue in the downtown west neighborhood of Minneapolis, Minnesota, right near the Mississippi River. As one of six New Horizon Academy locations in Minneapolis, we have been serving families in the Twin Cities with quality childcare and early education services since 1989. Our school offers learning programs for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years, including infant, toddler, preschool, and pre-kindergarten options. At our Minneapolis childcare, we use a comprehensive curriculum that includes character development, STEAM, literacy, motor skills, and more, all with an emphasis on building confident and excited learners. This is a wonderful daycare! They’ve taken such good care of our 11 month old since she started daycare at 6 months. The teachers are excellent and really care about the kids. I love getting all the updates and pictures of our baby throughout the day on my phone. They feed her delicious meals and snacks each day, and she seems very well cared for. On holidays, they often do little craft projects that they send home to parents. It’s very sweet. I'm so glad we chose this daycare!

Our Minneapolis center is open Monday-Friday every day with the exception of nine holidays:
*On Christmas Eve, New Horizon Academy closes at 3:00 p.m.
*If one of these holidays falls on a weekend, it will be observed on either Friday or Monday.
*Our school will remain open during inclement weather to ensure children still have access to quality childcare.

Yes! At New Horizon Academy Minneapolis (Marquette), we have an on-site cook trained in nutrition, USDA guidelines, and proper portions for young children. Our school provides nutritious and nourishing meals every day including breakfast, lunch, and snack.
If your child has a special nutritional need, a food allergy, or requires adaptation to our menu, please alert our school director, and we will partner with your family to create a suitable meal plan.
