Our school is located conveniently in Maplewood, Minn., at the intersection of Carlton Street North and Conway Avenue, near the 3M campus. We have been serving families in Maplewood with quality child care and early education services since 2006. Our learning programs include infant, toddler, preschool, pre-kindergarten, school-age, and summer camp. We use a convenient electronic communication tool in each classroom to connect with our families throughout the day. Our comprehensive curriculum includes character development, STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts, and Math), sign language, and more, all with an emphasis on building confident learners. I’ve worked in childcare since I was in high school and grew up surrounded by women in my family in the same field. It’s always been my dream to work with children and families and I’m so happy to work for such a great company. Our Maplewood center is open Monday-Friday every day with the exception of nine holidays:
*On Christmas Eve, New Horizon Academy closes at 3:00 p.m.
*If one of these holidays falls on a weekend, it will be observed on either Friday or Monday.
*Our school will remain open during inclement weather to ensure children still have access to quality childcare.

Yes! At New Horizon Academy Maplewood (Oakdale), we have an on-site cook trained in nutrition, USDA guidelines, and proper portions for young children. Our school provides nutritious and nourishing meals every day including breakfast, lunch, and snack.
