My name is Jon Woodruff, and I am thrilled to introduce myself as the Director of Lakeville New Horizon Academy. With over 30 years of experience working with children—from infants to teenagers—I am excited to bring my passion and experience to work with me every day. For the past 23 years, I served as the Director of Early Childhood Education at a school in Eagan, MN. I am well aware of the excellent reputation that New Horizon Academy has to offer and I am more than happy to share that experience with you. I live in Apple Valley with my wife and our two children. Both of my children had the opportunity to grow up attending a Nationally Accredited program, and the positive impact that experience had on them is something I hold close to my heart.

I have been married for over 30 years. I have three adult children and two grandchildren. I also have two dogs, three cats, and two fish. I enjoy traveling and playing board games with my family.

I’m grateful for how much the Lakeville teachers love the kids. They have done so much for my child’s development. It’s nice to see what my kids are doing throughout the day and it’s convenient to be able to communicate with the teachers through the app.

Best daycare ever! We have 3 children that attend New Horizon Academy in Lakeville and ALL of the teachers they’ve had are wonderful! They all have a special relationship with each of our boys. When we show up, my kids can’t wait to see their teachers and friends. Our oldest is now in kindergarten and went in way ahead of the class as far as academics go. We attribute this to programs that New Horizon Academy has implemented to make sure every child succeeds.
