I fell in love with the early childhood field because of my younger sister, who is 15 years younger than me! I graduated with my Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Administration in 2022 and have been a Director of a nonprofit childcare center in southern Minnesota before I moved to Fridley and found my way to New Horizon Academy. I spend my free time doing martial arts, sewing, being outdoors, and just being at home with my boyfriend!

Our preschooler has been at the Fridley New Horizon Academy since she was an infant, and she loves her teachers and friends! It’s hard to leave your infant in the care of someone else, and I had a lot of anxiety when we first started daycare. However, the director is excellent at communication and handled all my “new mom” questions with such care and professionalism. Our Fridley daycare center is open Monday-Friday every day with the exception of nine holidays:
*On Christmas Eve, New Horizon Academy closes at 3:00 p.m.
*If one of these holidays falls on a weekend, it will be observed on either Friday or Monday.
*Our school will remain open during inclement weather to ensure children still have access to quality childcare.

Yes! At New Horizon Academy Fridley, we have an on-site cook trained in nutrition, USDA guidelines, and proper portions for young children. Our school provides nutritious and nourishing meals every day including breakfast, lunch, and snack. All meals are included in the cost of tuition.
