New Horizon Academy Edina is located conveniently in Edina, Minnesota on Valley View Road, just north of Highway 62. We have been serving families in Edina, Richfield, Hopkins, and the surrounding area with quality childcare and early education services since 1988 and moved to a beautiful new state-of-the-art facility in early 2020. Our school has two infant daycare rooms, two toddler daycare rooms, and four preschool and pre-kindergarten rooms. At our Edina childcare, we use a comprehensive curriculum that includes character development, STEAM, literacy, motor skills, and more, all with an emphasis on building confident and excited learners. Our Edina center is open Monday-Friday every day with the exception of nine holidays:
*On Christmas Eve, New Horizon Academy closes at 3:00 p.m.
*If one of these holidays falls on a weekend, it will be observed on either Friday or Monday.
*Our school will remain open during inclement weather to ensure children still have access to quality childcare.
Our Edina school offers both full-time and part-time schedules to accommodate the different needs of our families.

Yes! At New Horizon Academy Edina, we have an on-site cook trained in nutrition, USDA guidelines, and proper portions for young children. Our school provides nutritious and nourishing meals every day including breakfast, lunch, and snack.
If your child has a special nutritional need, a food allergy, or requires adaptation to our menu, please alert our school director, and we will partner with your family to create a suitable meal plan.
