Our school is located conveniently in Edina, Minn., on Valley View Road just north of Highway 62. We have been serving families in Edina with quality child care and early education services since 1988, and moved to a beautiful state-of-the-art facility in early 2020. Our school has two infant rooms, two toddler rooms, and four preschool rooms. We use a convenient electronic communication tool in each classroom to connect with our families throughout the day. Our comprehensive curriculum includes character development, STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts, and Math), sign language, and more, all with an emphasis on building confident learners. Our Edina center is open Monday-Friday every day with the exception of nine holidays:
*On Christmas Eve, New Horizon Academy closes at 3:00 p.m.
*If one of these holidays falls on a weekend, it will be observed on either Friday or Monday.
*Our school will remain open during inclement weather to ensure children still have access to quality childcare.
Our Edina school offers both full-time and part-time schedules to accommodate the different needs of our families.

Yes! At New Horizon Academy Edina, we have an on-site cook trained in nutrition, USDA guidelines, and proper portions for young children. Our school provides nutritious and nourishing meals every day including breakfast, lunch, and snack.
If your child has a special nutritional need, a food allergy, or requires adaptation to our menu, please alert our school director, and we will partner with your family to create a suitable meal plan.
