New Horizon Academy Edina is located conveniently in Edina, Minnesota on Valley View Road, just north of Highway 62. We have been serving families in Edina, Richfield, Hopkins, and the surrounding area with quality childcare and early education services since 1988 and moved to a beautiful new state-of-the-art facility in early 2020. Our school has two infant daycare rooms, two toddler daycare rooms, and four preschool and pre-kindergarten rooms. At our Edina childcare, we use a comprehensive curriculum that includes character development, STEAM, literacy, motor skills, and more, all with an emphasis on building confident and excited learners. Awards and Accolades
I grew up in the small town of Detroit Lakes, MN, and made my journey to the twin cities area 7 years ago. My husband and I live in Richfield with our amazing puppy, Bandit. I have 2 nieces and 4 nephews whom I absolutely adore, and spend most of my free time with when I’m able to get home. At the end of the day, I unwind by reading a good book, going on long walks with my puppy, and enjoying the company of friends and family.

I recently moved to Minnesota from Kansas City, KS at the beginning of the year. I have worked with all ages from 6 weeks to 12 years old, but my specialty is the infant age group!

My child has been going to the Edina New Horizon Academy for 2 years. We’ve loved the structures of both the toddler and preschool classrooms. The teachers and staff are kind, patient, and just amazing. We wouldn’t dream of going to any other daycare facility. I’m always surprised at how much my child learns each day and all the relationships he builds with his teachers and classmates.
I was anxious to start daycare at first but my son’s teachers are so nice and always keeping me up to date on his progress throughout the day. The director and the assistant are very kind and helpful!
My son has learned SO much from his teachers at New Horizon Academy in Edina! Drop-offs can be difficult for us, but my son’s teacher always reaches out and gives me an update as the day progresses. I know he will be fine, but it’s the thoughtfulness that they reach out and let me know that makes them the best.
This daycare has been life changing! My 8 month old has only been going here for 1 week and has already shown significant changes in her growth. She is a much happier baby now! New Horizon Academy is a very professional, clean, and friendly environment. They engage and truly bond with the children. I also love that as soon as you walk in the building, there is a screen that shows every room for safety which is so reassuring. I never realized how much peace you have knowing your baby is safe, happy, and well taken care of.
