Our school is located conveniently in Des Moines, Iowa, off of Murphy Street and SW 9th Street. We have been serving families in Des Moines with quality child care and early education services since 2018. Our learning programs include infant, toddler, preschool, and pre-kindergarten. We use a convenient electronic communication tool in each classroom to connect with our families throughout the day. Our comprehensive curriculum includes character development, STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts, and Math), sign language, and more, all with an emphasis on building confident learners. What do you like about early childhood?
It is fascinating to me that 80% of a child’s brain is developed in the first 5 years. The way I see it, working in early childhood is the most impactful way to positively influence our future leaders as we teach them the basics of relationship building and problem-solving skills!

The New Horizon Academy downtown Des Moines location is an amazing place to take your little one.
