Welcome to the Champlin, Minnesota New Horizon Academy! Our school is located off Highway 169 at the intersection of Elm Creek Parkway and Jefferson Highway. We have been serving Champlin children and families with high-quality daycare and preschool programs since 1995. I have always wanted to work with young children and now with more than 9 years experience in the field, I enjoy using my skills to ensure I am creating a safe and educational environment for all. I am currently the director of the Champlin location, but I have also had the roles of an assistant director and a toddler teacher. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and my sons. We enjoy gardening, making sourdough, and learning new skills.

Our school is special and unique because we are a school family filled with both long-term teachers and new teachers just coming into the field. We work as a school family to ensure that each child leaves feeling loved and having learned something new. Our classrooms are filled with evidence of learning while also feeling like home.

Outside of my professional life I enjoy doing home repairs, flipping my house, and various DIY projects that bring my creative visions to life. I am a passionate animal lover and I devote my time to caring for my pets and supporting animal welfare. I also love to travel, seeking new adventures and experiences with my family and friends.
