I was born and raised in Illinois and completed my undergraduate degree in Music Education at Elmhurst College. I went on to teach K-5 general music for five years in West Dundee, Illinois, before relocating to Colorado in June 2024. I worked for a Denver-based nonprofit called “Books to Kids” while completing my Master’s certificate at CSU. In 2025, I started my career in early childhood education at a center in Littleton, Colorado, as Education Coordinator. I’m very excited to continue working in early childhood education at New Horizon Academy and look forward to getting to know all our Broomfield families! In my free time, I enjoy hiking, reading, and cooking with my cats nearby.

We absolutely LOVE New Horizon Academy! Our daughter started at 2.5 months old and she has learned so much in the last few months. Her teacher is so attentive with her and she’s amazing with keeping us updated through the app. The director is wonderful and always so happy to see us each morning! Honestly all of the staff are extremely friendly and they definitely feel like family!

The curriculum is top notch—we are constantly amazed at how much our daughter is learning. This is hands down the best school ever! If you want your child to learn while being loved and cared for, then this is the school for you! This school treated my kids aged 5 & 2 as if they were family! The director is extremely understanding and caring. I would suggest this school to anyone who is looking for high-quality childcare!
As a working parent, you want to feel that you are leaving your child in the best possible care in your absence. A place where they are safe, nurtured, and loved. A place where they can explore, express their creativity, and learn and grow. New Horizon Academy is just the place to do all of that! My little one has been going here for a couple months now, and I have seen such a change in her growth, and it is so fun to see her play and interact with her friends. She definitely loves going every day!
