Welcome to New Horizon Academy – Best Buy! Our school is conveniently located in Richfield, Minnesota, in the Best Buy Corporate Headquarters off of I-494, I-35W, and Penn Avenue. We proudly serve as Best Buy’s corporate-sponsored childcare center, while also welcoming families from the Richfield, Bloomington, Edina, Minneapolis, and surrounding areas! Our Richfield daycare opened in 2003, is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children, and holds a four-star rating from Minnesota Parent Aware. Our Richfield childcare center has six infant daycare rooms, four toddler daycare rooms, and six preschool and pre-kindergarten rooms. All of our childcare classrooms utilize an age-appropriate curriculum, which incorporates reading, STEAM, social-emotional learning, and more. We utilize age-appropriate learning modules to prepare children for kindergarten and life beyond! We’d love to meet your family and show you our beautiful daycare classrooms. I am originally from Upper Michigan and moved to Minnesota in 2003. New Horizon Academy – Best Buy is the only center I have worked at, and I love it! My two children also went to New Horizon Academy from infancy through preschool. They still talk about their great experience!

We have absolutely loved our time (4 years and counting) at New Horizon Academy – Best Buy! The staff are all so knowledgeable and well trained. I’ve felt so comfortable leaving my daughters with them since day one and know they take great care of them. The directors are so approachable along with all of the teachers to help talk through any transitions or issues. I’ve had many conversations with them all even just about what I can do better as a parent and have felt very supported through every conversation about my girls.
