The infant classrooms at New Horizon Academy are places where babies can grow and learn every day by exploring and making new discoveries.
Diapers are now included with infant enrollment! We understand how busy life is for parents of young children, especially newborns. Our goal is to make your family’s experience in the infant classroom as positive as possible by adding conveniences that support your family. Providing diapers is just one of the ways we aim to make your day a little easier.
Using monthly themes from our research-based infant curriculum, our teachers create individualized lesson plans to provide developmentally appropriate and engaging activities to support learning in all domains:

We understand that babies thrive in an environment that is especially responsive to individual needs.
Our infant is enrolled at New Horizon Academy, and it's been a better experience than we ever could have imagined! The teachers treat our child like one of their own, and we know he is so well cared for. They actively support his social and physical development through an intentional and purposeful curriculum, and we love receiving daily updates and photos of all the adventures he is having at school. We are so grateful for all they do!
Children in our infant classrooms are typically between 0-12 months old, though transition timing can vary.
New Horizon Academy tuition is carefully determined by all of the factors that are included in providing a premier service. Those variables include:
Because childcare costs are dependent on these unique circumstances, there is no fixed price that is universally applicable to all families. The New Horizon Academy in your community is the best resource for information regarding the care and services offered. Our director will meet with you to learn about the individual desires of your family and help offer solutions that best meet your needs. You can reach your local director by phone, email, or scheduling a tour.
We’ve recently added diapers to be included in infant enrollment!
In addition to your child’s enrollment, tuition will include all diapers, wipes, infant food, solid food, whole milk, and bottles. You will only need to bring any specific formula or breastmilk (if desired) and an extra set of clothes for your baby.
Created to foster unique and individual skill development during the most critical period of rapid growth, The Creative Curriculum® for Infants empowers teachers to easily individualize learning for every child with a first-of-its-kind digital solution that seamlessly connects curriculum with ongoing guided assessment.
Teachers have access to monthly study guides and skill development cards that provide them the opportunity to engage one on one with children each day. This supports children’s individual needs as teachers intentionally implement guided activities that target specific skills in all domains: language and literacy, cognitive, physical, social emotional, and mathematics. The resources and tools help guide teachers to build safe and connected relationships and to nurture infants’ growth.
Family partnership is key in implementation of the curriculum and assessment as teachers and families work together to identify children’s skills and goals.
Each school follows its state guidelines for teacher-infant ratio.
Yes! Families are welcome to visit their baby in the infant classroom at any time in the school day.
We really enjoy New Horizon Academy! Our little babe is in one of the infant rooms, and the teachers are fantastic! As a first-time parent, I was initially nervous leaving my daughter with someone new, but the teachers do such a great job communicating throughout the day, sharing pictures, and loving her as if she were their own. Our baby smiles every time she sees her teachers at drop-off!
Our son has been in the infant classroom at New Horizon Academy, and as a new mom with so many fears, I'm thrilled to say I have no fears about leaving him with this wonderful group! It truly feels like family there, and I'm so impressed with all of the amazing activities my son has experienced. The multitude of pictures and the teachers' attention to detail in his well-being show how much they genuinely care about my son as an individual and about us as a family.
