The Assistant Teacher plays a meaningful role in inspiring and supporting young children as they learn, grow, and discover the world around them. Working closely with the lead teacher, the Assistant Teacher helps create a warm, engaging, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment where every child feels valued and encouraged. Responsibilities include supporting curriculum activities, guiding children through daily routines, fostering positive social interactions, and helping nurture each child’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development. The Assistant Teacher actively engages with children through play, conversation, and hands-on learning, models positive behavior, maintains a safe and organized classroom, and collaborates with the teaching team to ensure consistent care and learning experiences. This role is ideal for someone who finds joy in encouraging curiosity, celebrating milestones, and making a lasting difference in children’s early learning years.
