We have been serving Prior Lake children and families since 2005. I joined the New Horizon Academy family in the spring of 2021 with over 30 years of experience in the field of Early Childhood Education. It is a pleasure to be working in the same community that I have lived in for over 25 years and to be able to see our NHA families while out and about in our community. My favorite thing about New Horizon Academy is our core values; We do what is best for children, we are dependable, we live a mission of continuous improvement, and we model and foster healthy relationships. My baby girl has been attending New Horizon Academy Prior Lake since she was 5 months old. The teachers and staff welcomed her immediately and made sure to listen to my requests as a new mom. I️ received daily photos and updates of her activities which was amazing. I️ was so impressed that even at 5 months old, she was doing arts and crafts! Our Prior Lake daycare center is open Monday-Friday every day with the exception of nine holidays:
*On Christmas Eve, New Horizon Academy closes at 3:00 p.m.
*If one of these holidays falls on a weekend, it will be observed on either Friday or Monday.
*Our school will remain open during inclement weather to ensure children still have access to quality childcare.
Yes! At New Horizon Academy Prior Lake, we have an on-site cook trained in nutrition, USDA guidelines, and proper portions for young children. Our school provides nutritious and nourishing meals every day including breakfast, lunch, and snack. All meals are included in the cost of tuition.
If your child has a special nutritional need, a food allergy, or requires adaptation to our menu, please alert our school director, and we will partner with your family to create a suitable meal plan.
