From Sun Thisweek: Lakeville Childcare Is Bringing the Classroom Outdoors
New Horizon Academy in Lakeville is taking learning outdoors with its newly certified Nature Explore classroom, joining its other Minnesota locations in Burnsville, Eagan, Apple Valley, and Rosemount.
The outdoor space allows children to engage in structured activities, from art and music to group learning and free play, while exploring natural elements. School director Jenna Jackson notes that the space helps children develop social-emotional and problem-solving skills.
The Nature Explore certification reflects a company-wide commitment to outdoor learning.
