Our Minneapolis daycare opened in 2015 and is one of 6 New Horizon Academy schools in Minneapolis. We are accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children, hold a four-star rating from Minnesota Parent Aware, and offer quality early childhood programs for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and pre-kindergarteners. My name is Melanie, and I have a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education. I have been working with children since I was 16 years old. Growing up in a large family with seven brothers and three sisters, I developed a deep love for education and learning. I want to share that passion with the children in the community where I live and work. I have two amazing kids, Anakin and Delilah, who have grown up at New Horizon Academy.
