Associate IT Specialist

POSITION OVERVIEW

All while providing pleasant and patient customer service and establishing great working relationships with clients, vendors, and other members of the team, the Associate IT Specialist:

  1. Assist with the IT needs of our end users at our corporate offices and schools
  2. Works with IT team to configure, administer, monitor, and maintain of our various applications, systems and networks
  3. Helps to ensure application, system, network, and data security

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Provide associate-level IT support as needed concerning the following technologies:
    • IT Administration: Domain Administration, Active Directory, Single Sign On, Identity & Access Management, DNS/DHCP, etc.
    • IT Security: Data Security & Loss Protection, Disaster Recovery / Business Continuity, Endpoint Protection, Firewalls, etc.
    • Applications: Microsoft Stack; Microsoft O365; SaaS applications, etc.
    • End User Computing: PC, iPads, Printers, etc.
    • Networks: Routers, Switches, Firewall, VLANS, WLANs, Internet Connectivity, DMZ, etc.
  • Assist with associate-level IT support as needed of our end users at our corporate offices and schools including:
    • Walking clients through a series of actions, either face-to-face or remotely to help set up systems or resolve issues
    • Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults
    • Work with vendors to facilitate the replacement computer and network parts and equipment as required
    • Provide support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports
    • Follow diagrams and written instructions to repair a fault or set up a system
    • Appropriately prioritize, troubleshoot, and communicate concerning open cases
  • Assist with associate-level IT configuration, administration, monitoring, and maintenance of our various applications, systems and networks
  • Helps to ensure application, system, network, and data security

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must pass the Applicant Background Study required by the Department of Human Services.
  • Must have documentation of U.S. citizenship or eligibility to work in the U.S.
  • 3-5 years of Information Technology experience
  • Associates Degree, College Diploma, or equivalent experience in a relevant field preferred
  • Great communication and customer service skills
  • Wide technical support experience
  • Team player with the ability to manage competing priorities while servicing our clients effectively
  • Dynamic, energetic, motivated, positive outlook
  • Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
